Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA), 63-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hanover upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 9. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 17-2. Courtland won 76-51 in their recent league bout against Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Henrico Warriors (Richmond, VA) in a Capital bout, on Friday, February 11. Armstrong will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 46-45 league win over Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA).
