Texas High School Basketball - Axtell overwhelmed by Bremond

The Bremond Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Axtell Longhorns to 30 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wortham for a 2A Region III District 18 contest on Friday, February 11. Bremond will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-41 league loss to Dawson (Dawson, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-12.
The Longhorns (4-18) will now prepare for their contest against Marlin (Marlin, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region III District 18 contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Marlin triumphed over Mart (Mart, TX), 88-29, in a league contest.
