The Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Carrizo Springs Wildcats to 49 in the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) league triumph on Tuesday.

The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) now sport a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pearsall for a 4A Region IV District 30 contest on Friday, February 11. Uvalde will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 82-76 league loss to Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 15-9.

The Wildcats (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against Crystal City (Crystal City, TX). The Javelinas enter the 4A Region IV District 30 contest with a 19-10 record. In their last contest, Crystal City was outscored by Hondo (Hondo, TX), 67-64, in a league contest.
