The Churchill Lancers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Springfield Millers to 54 in the Lancers league victory on Tuesday.

The Lancers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashland for a 5A Midwestern contest on Friday, February 11. Churchill will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 57-53 league win over Crater (Central Point, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-7.

The Millers (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets come into the 5A Midwestern contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Crater was defeated by Ashland (Ashland, OR), 57-53, in a league contest.
