In Tuesday's league outing, the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) basketball squad edged the visiting Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM), by a count of 45-40.

The Coyotes (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Jal (Jal, NM). The Panthers go into the 2A District 4 outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Jal held off Loving (Loving, NM), 61-12, in a league outing.
