St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT), 65-50 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Bernard upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Saints host Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT) to play the Centaurs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 10. The Centaurs go into the bout with a record of 1-13. Woodstock Academy lost 83-51 in their recent league challenge against Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT)

Next up, the Falcons confront the Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 11. Fitch will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 82-80 non-league win over West Haven (West Haven, CT).
