Junction City Bluejays (Junction City, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hayden Wildcats (Topeka, KS), 49-43 in a league bout.
With the win, Junction City upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Bluejays host West (Topeka, KS) to play the Chargers in a Centennial bout on Friday, February 11. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 14-1. West won 77-48 in their recent league bout against Manhattan (Manhattan, KS)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Seaman Vikings (Topeka, KS) in a Centennial bout, on Friday, February 11. Hayden will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 60-50 league win over Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS).
