Georgia High School Basketball - Montgomery County nipped by Johnson County

February 8, 2022: Wrightsville, GA 31096

In Tuesday's league test, the host Johnson County Trojans basketball squad scored a close 62-61 win over the Montgomery County Eagles.

The Trojans (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Dooly County (Vienna, GA). The Bobcats go into the A Public Region 4 test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Dooly County got by Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA), 70-54, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Telfair County for a A Public Region 4 test on Friday, February 11. Montgomery County will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 76-61 league loss to Treutlen (Soperton, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-14.
