Illinois High School Basketball - LaSalle-Peru overwhelmed by Kaneland

The Kaneland Knights basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers to 39 in the Knights league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sycamore for a Interstate Eight contest on Friday, February 11. Kaneland will battle a Spartans team coming off a 42-29 league loss to Morris (Morris, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 12-12.
The Cavaliers (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Ottawa (Ottawa, IL). The Pirates come into the Interstate Eight contest with a 14-9 record. In their last contest, Ottawa was routed by Dunlap (Dunlap, IL), 70-61, in a non-league contest.
