The Kodiak Bears (Kodiak, AK) basketball crushed the visiting Metlakatla Chiefs (Metlakatla, AK), 67-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bears (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Moose go into the 4A Northern Lights test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Palmer walloped Anchorage Christian (Anchorage, AK), 83-55, in a league test.
The Chiefs now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Petersburg for a 2A Southeast test on Friday, February 11. Metlakatla will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 56-48 league win over Haines (Haines, AK). The Vikings record now stands at 5-6.
