In Tuesday's league outing, the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL) basketball squad beat the host St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL), by a count of 73-61.
The Tigers (18-8) will now prepare for their outing against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets go into the Three Rivers - East outing with a 19-8 record. In their last outing, Newman Central Catholic defeated Riverdale (Port Byron, IL), 65-43, in a non-league outing.
The Bruins now hold a 11-15 record. They play next when they travel to Bureau Valley for a Three Rivers - East outing on Friday, February 11. St. Bede will clash with a Storm squad coming off a 80-65 league win over Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Storm record now stands at 13-14.
