Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM), 45-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rio Rancho upgrades its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Cougars in a 5A District 1 bout on Thursday, February 10. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 4-17. Cibola lost 73-23 in their recent league bout against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Thursday, February 10. Atrisco Heritage Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Storm come into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 35-34 league win over Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM).
