The Discovery Warriors basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the visiting Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars to 18 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology for a Central Valley contest on Thursday, February 10. Discovery will battle a Griffins team coming off a 36-28 league loss to Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 6-2.

The Cougars (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Valor Academy (Van Nuys, CA). The come into the Central Valley contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Valor Academy was defeated by Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA), 34-24, in a league contest.
