Pecatonica Indians (Pecatonica, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Polo Marcos (Polo, IL), 39-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pecatonica upgrades its record to 20-7 on the season. The Indians travel to Orangeville (Orangeville, IL) to clash with the Broncos in a Northwest Upstate Illini - North bout on Thursday, February 10. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 26-4. Orangeville won 47-24 in their recent league bout against Durand (Durand, IL)
Next up, the Marcos clash with the Milledgeville Missiles (Milledgeville, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South bout, on Thursday, February 10. Polo will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Missiles go into the bout with a 2-20 record after their 46-20 league loss to Forreston (Forreston, IL).
