Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND), 61-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Red River upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Valley City (Valley City, ND) to clash with the Hi-Liners in a A East bout on Friday, February 11. The Hi-Liners go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Valley City lost 68-59 in their recent league bout against Shanley (Fargo, ND)
Next up, the Huskies clash with the Grand Forks Central Knights (Grand Forks, ND) in a A East bout, on Friday, February 11. Wahpeton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-14 record after their 77-42 league loss to West Fargo (West Fargo, ND).
