Washington High School Basketball - Meridian can't hold off Blaine

The Blaine Borderites basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Meridian Trojans to 54 in the Borderites league victory on Wednesday.
The Borderites now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lynden Christian for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Saturday, February 11. Blaine will battle a Lyncs team coming off a 83-38 league win over Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Lyncs record now stands at 20-2.
The Trojans (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Pioneers come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Nooksack Valley was nudged by Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA), 83-38, in a league contest.
