The Cedarville Pirates basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Hackett Hornets to 45 in the Pirates league victory on Wednesday.
The Pirates now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paris for a 3A Region 4 contest on Saturday, February 11. Cedarville will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-59 league loss to Charleston (Charleston, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 15-7.
The Hornets (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Charleston (Charleston, AR). The Tigers come into the 3A Region 4 contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Charleston edged Paris (Paris, AR), 62-59, in a league contest.
