The Louisa County Lions basketball team (Mineral, VA), was overwhelmed 81-45 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA)

The Black Knights now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albemarle for a non-league battle on Friday, February 10. Charlottesville will confront a Patriots team coming off a 80-72 league win over Orange County (Orange, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 20-2.

The Lions (2-19) will now prepare for their battle against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs come into the Jefferson battle with a 0-20 record. In their last battle, Goochland was overwhelmed by Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 89-22, in a league battle.
