The Williams Yellowjackets basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting CORE Butte Lynx to 33 in the Yellowjackets league victory on Wednesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Biggs for a Mid-Valley contest on Friday, February 10. Williams will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 65-41 league win over Maxwell (Maxwell, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-14.
The Lynx (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Braves come into the Mid-Valley contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Hamilton triumphed over Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA), 50-30, in a league contest.
