Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA), saw University Lab's basketball squad hold off Doyle by a tally of 66-65.

With the victory, University Lab improves its record to 15-14 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Port Allen (Port Allen, LA) to confront the Pelicans in a 3A District 6 challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Pelicans come into the challenge with a record of 24-2. Port Allen won 43-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Capitol (Baton Rouge, LA)

Next up, the Tigers confront the East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Doyle will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 16-11 record after their 59-52 league win over Terrebonne (Houma, LA).
