Michigan High School Basketball - Menominee can't hold off Escanaba

The Escanaba Eskymos basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Menominee Maroons to 50 in the Eskymos league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eskymos now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marquette for a Great Northern U.P. contest on Thursday, February 9. Escanaba will battle a Redmen team coming off a 75-44 league win over Gladstone (Gladstone, MI). The Redmen record now stands at 10-6.
The Maroons (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Bark River-Harris nudged Stephenson (Stephenson, MI), 60-46, in a non-league contest.
