In Wednesday's league outing, the Highlander Charter (Warren, RI) basketball squad beat the host Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI), by a margin of 48-38.

The (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI). The Northmen go into the Division 3 outing with a 18-2 record. In their last outing, North Smithfield defeated St. Patrick Academy (Providence, RI), 86-50, in a league outing.

The Mounties now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Ponaganset for a Division 3 outing on Friday, February 10. Mount St. Charles Academy will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 66-62 league loss to North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 7-10.
