Irvington Vikings (Fremont, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Washington Huskies (Fremont, CA), 74-64 in a league bout.

With the win, Irvington upgrades its record to 12-13 on the season. The Vikings travel to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA) to clash with the Mariners in a Mission Valley bout on Friday, February 10. The Mariners go into the bout with a record of 19-5. Moreau Catholic won 72-43 in their recent league bout against American (Fremont, CA)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA) in a Mission Valley bout, on Thursday, February 9. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-19 record after their 56-44 league loss to Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA).
