The Ishpeming Hematites basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Westwood Patriots to 46 in the Hematites non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hematites now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Negaunee for a Mid-Peninsula contest on Friday, February 10. Ishpeming will battle a Miners team coming off a 61-32 league win over Gwinn (Gwinn, MI). The Miners record now stands at 12-4.

The Patriots (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Manistique (Manistique, MI). The Emeralds enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record.
