The Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) basketball crushed the visiting La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD), 71-50 in Wednesday's league test.
The Cougars (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves go into the Southern Maryland test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Chopticon was trounced by Great Mills (Great Mills, MD), 65-60, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Northern for a Southern Maryland test on Friday, February 10. La Plata will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 80-54 league loss to Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 7-11.
