The Mascenic Regional Vikings basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Sunapee Lakers to 29 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Vikings now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilton-Lyndeborough for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Mascenic Regional will battle a Warriors team coming off a 56-33 league loss to Pittsfield (Pittsfield, NH). The Warriors record now stands at 0-8.
The Lakers (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Franklin, NH). The Tornadoes enter the Division IV contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Franklin was routed by Farmington (Farmington, NH), 63-25, in a league contest.
