Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Thunder Mountain Falcons (Juneau, AK), 53-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Monroe Catholic upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Eagle River (Eagle River, AK) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 1-11.

Next up, the Falcons play the Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Thunder Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Malemutes come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 55-44 non-league loss to Kodiak (Kodiak, AK).
