Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT) and the visiting Vergennes Commodores (Vergennes, VT), saw Mt. Abraham's basketball squad knock off Vergennes by a count of 50-37.

With the victory, Mt. Abraham upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT) to play the Thunderbirds in a Lake challenge on Friday, February 17. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 4-12.

Next up, the Commodores play the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) in a Metro challenge, on Monday, February 20. Vergennes will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
