Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Vista Panthers (Vista, CA) and the visiting Oceanside Pirates (Oceanside, CA), saw Vista's basketball squad wallop Oceanside by a tally of 63-35.

With the victory, Vista improves its record to 12-15 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA) to confront the Ravens in a North County Coastal challenge on Friday, February 10. The Ravens come into the challenge with a record of 17-10. Canyon Crest Academy won 78-66 in their recent league challenge against Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA)

Next up, the Pirates confront the Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) in a North County Coastal challenge, on Friday, February 10. Oceanside will attempt to improve on its 6-21 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 11-16 record after their 68-65 league loss to Ramona (Ramona, CA).
