In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) basketball squad felled the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), by a margin of 69-60.
The Bulldogs (18-4) will now prepare for their outing against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Knights go into the 1A/2A Conference 35 outing with a 4-16 record. In their last outing, Gray Stone Day was beaten by Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC), 31-23, in a non-league outing.
The Bearcats now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Parkwood for a 2A/3A Conference 44 outing on Friday, February 10. Anson will clash with a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 69-26 league win over Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 18-5.
