The Steamboat Springs Sailors ran past the visiting Aspen Skiers basketball team by a final score of 36-19 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Sailors face the Basalt Longhorns (Basalt, CO) in a 4A Western Slope game, on Friday, February 10. Steamboat Springs will attempt to move on its 6-13 season record. The Longhorns enter the game with a 10-9 record after their 53-42 league loss to Summit (Frisco, CO).
With the defeat, Aspen moves to 0-18 on the year. The Skiers travel to North Fork (Hotchkiss, CO) to face the Miners in a 3A Western Slope game on Friday, February 10. The Miners enter the game with a record of 9-5.
