Nevada High School Basketball - Basic edges Sierra Vista

The Basic Wolves (Henderson, NV) basketball nipped the host Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV), 35-33 in Wednesday's league test.

The Wolves (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Rancho (Las Vegas, NV). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Rancho was tipped by Clark (Las Vegas, NV), 62-36, in a league test.

The Mountain Lions now own a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon for a non-league test on Thursday, February 9. Sierra Vista will encounter a Pirate squad coming off a 58-15 non-league win over Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Pirate record now stands at 2-15.
