Utah High School Basketball - Beaver can't hold off Kanab

The Kanab Cowboys basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Beaver Beavers to 48 in the Cowboys league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cowboys now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Enterprise for a 2A Region 19 contest on Friday, February 10. Kanab will battle a Wolves team coming off a 60-37 league loss to Parowan (Parowan, UT). The Wolves record now stands at 6-17.

The Beavers (18-2) will now prepare for their contest against San Juan (Blanding, UT). The Broncos enter the 2A Region 19 contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, San Juan was nudged by South Sevier (Monroe, UT), 89-22, in a league contest.
