Bishop Kearney Kings (Rochester, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs (Rochester, NY), 81-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Bishop Kearney upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Kings travel to Cardinal O'Hara (Tonawanda, NY) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Cardinal O'Hara won 60-56 in their recent league bout against Sacred Heart Academy (Buffalo, NY)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Williamsville South Billies (Williamsville, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Our Lady of Mercy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Billies go into the bout with a 15-1 record after their 61-38 league win over Starpoint (Lockport, NY).
