The Carlin Railroaders (Carlin, NV) basketball nipped the host Jackpot Jaguars (Jackpot, NV), 42-35 in Wednesday's league test.
The Railroaders (4-14) will now prepare for their test against Owyhee (Owyhee, NV). The Braves go into the 1A Eastern test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Owyhee got by Wells (Wells, NV), 47-40, in a league test.
The Jaguars now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to McDermitt for a 1A Eastern test on Friday, February 10. Jackpot will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 32-24 league loss to Eureka (Eureka, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-5.
