The Cody Comets basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Communication Media Arts Pharaohs to 30 in the Comets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Comets now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East English Village Prep for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Cody will battle a team coming off a 78-23 non-league loss to Westfield Prep (Redford, MI). The record now stands at 10-5.

The Pharaohs (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Southeastern (Detroit, MI). The Jungaleers enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Southeastern was nudged by Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI), 47-22, in a non-league contest.
