Gentry Pioneers (Gentry, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Prairie Grove Tigers (Prairie Grove, AR), 83-81 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Gentry improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Huntsville (Huntsville, AR) to confront the Eagles in a 4A Region 1 challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-13.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Pea Ridge Blackhawks (Pea Ridge, AR) in a 4A Region 1 challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Prairie Grove will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record.
