In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs basketball team scored a tight 48-42 triumph over the Lakes Eagles.
In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL) in a Northern Lake County match, on Friday, February 10. Grant Community will attempt to move on its 15-15 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 17-12 record after their 42-40 league loss to Antioch (Antioch, IL).
With the defeat, Lakes moves to 9-18 on the year. The Eagles travel to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 14.
