Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) and the host Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL), saw Marengo's basketball squad wallop Harvard by a count of 56-18.
With the victory, Marengo upgrades its record to 19-9 on the campaign.
Next up, the Hornets play the Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Harvard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-26 season record. The Cogs come into the challenge with a 15-13 record after their 40-31 non-league win over Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL).
