In Wednesday's league outing, the Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME), by a margin of 87-50.
The Warriors (15-3) will now prepare for their outing against East Grand (Dansforth, ME). The Vikings go into the D North outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, East Grand smashed Van Buren (Van Buren, ME), 46-15, in a league outing.
The Cougars now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Wisdom for a D North outing on Thursday, February 9. Katahdin will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 63-14 league win over Washburn (Washburn, ME). The Pioneers record now stands at 17-0.
