Kentucky High School Basketball - Russell tipped by Lawrence County

The Lawrence County Bulldogs basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Russell Red Devils to 74 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pike County Central for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Lawrence County will meet a Hawks team coming off a 61-59 league loss to Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Hawks record now stands at 5-7.

The Red Devils (17-10) will now prepare for their contest against East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, East Carter nudged St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV), 58-54, in a non-league contest.
