California High School Basketball - Loyalton can't hold off Portola

The Portola Tigers basketball team scored 35 points and restricted the host Loyalton Grizzlies to 34 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quincy for a Five Star contest on Friday, February 10. Portola will battle a Trojans team coming off a 42-32 league win over Chester (Chester, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-10.
The Grizzlies (12-13) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, CA). The Indians come into the Pioneer contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Greenville was nudged by Princeton (Princeton, CA), 25-22, in a league contest.
