In Wednesday's league outing, the Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM) basketball squad beat the visiting Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM), by a margin of 51-39.
The Eagles (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against Cliff (Cliff, NM). The Cowboys/Cowgirls go into the A District 2 outing with a 17-3 record. In their last outing, Cliff defeated Animas (Animas, NM), 44-34, in a league outing.
The Steers now own a 12-11 record. They play next when they travel to Mesilla Valley Christian School for a A District 2 outing on Thursday, February 9. Magdalena will clash with a SonBlazers squad coming off a 44-37 league loss to Quemado (Quemado, NM). The SonBlazers record now stands at 6-13.
