New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Grande ripped by Manzano

February 8, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87105

The Manzano Monarchs basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Rio Grande Ravens to 17 in the Monarchs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Monarchs now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe for a 5A District 5 contest on Saturday, February 11. Manzano will meet a Demons team coming off a 51-34 league win over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Demons record now stands at 9-14.

The Ravens (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs enter the 5A District 5 contest with a 20-2 record. In their last contest, Albuquerque triumphed over Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 66-25, in a league contest.
