The Marquette Redmen topped the visiting Menominee Maroons basketball team by a final score of 48-39 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Redmen face the Kingsford Flivvers (Kingsford, MI) in a Great Northern U.P. game, on Friday, February 10. Marquette will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Flivvers enter the game with a 7-8 record after their 69-42 league loss to Escanaba (Escanaba, MI).

With the defeat, Menominee moves to 6-10 on the year. The Maroons travel to Gladstone (Gladstone, MI) to face the Braves in a Great Northern U.P. game on Friday, February 10. The Braves enter the game with a record of 5-11.
