Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA) and the visiting Quitman County Hornets (Georgetown, GA), saw Seminole County's basketball squad knock off Quitman County by a count of 56-38.

With the victory, Seminole County upgrades its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Indians host Miller County (Colquitt, GA) to play the Pirates in a A D2 Region 1B challenge on Friday, February 10. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 6-16. Miller County won 33-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Grace Christian Academy (Bainbridge, GA)

Next up, the Hornets play the Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) in a A D2 Region 1B challenge, on Friday, February 10. Quitman County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 70-29 league win over Miller County (Colquitt, GA).
