The Deerfield Academy Big Green ice hockey squad scored 1 points and restricted the visiting Westminster School Martlets to 0 in the Big Green league victory on Wednesday.

With the victory, Deerfield Academy moves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Big Green host Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA) to face the Bears in a contest on Saturday, February 11. The Bears go into the contest with a record of 7-12. Berkshire School won 4-2 in their recent league contest against Pomfret School (Pomfret, CT)

The Martlets now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williston Northampton for a contest on Thursday, February 9. Westminster School will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-0.
