China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Gatesville Hornets (Gatesville, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 5 challenge, on Friday, February 10. China Spring will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Lampasas (Lampasas, TX).

The Bumblebees now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lampasas for a 4A Region 1 District 5 challenge on Tuesday, February 14. Little River Academy will confront a Badgers team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Salado (Salado, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 3-11.
