Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Staples defeated by Stamford/Westhill

Stamford/Westhill (Stamford, CT) fans left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT), 5-2 in a league match.
The (13-3) will now prepare for their match against Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Warriors enter the FCIAC match with a 4-10 record.
Next up, the Wreckers clash with the Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) in a FCIAC match, on Saturday, February 11. Staples will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT).
