California High School Basketball - Anderson thwarts Central Valley

February 8, 2023: Shasta Lake, CA 96019

The Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) basketball knocked off the host Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), 43-29 in Wednesday's league test.

The Cubs (16-9) will now prepare for their test against University Prep (Redding, CA). The Panthers go into the test with a 14-10 record. In their last test, University Prep notched a victory over Lassen (Susanville, CA), 49-47, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 5-17 record. They play next when they travel to Yreka for a test on Friday, February 10. Central Valley will encounter a Miners squad coming off a 62-56 league win over West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Miners record now stands at 13-3.
